Hello all

I had RNY 3 and 1/2 yrs ago. Medicare paid for it, so I was sure I wouldn't be able to get plastics. But I have recently come into enough money I think to get a tummy tuck. Is there anyone from Lake or Porter counties in Northwest In. that has had plastics? If so who did you go to? How much did it run? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Evie

To far North for me... You need to let us know what you went thru to get medicare to pay for the surgery.. there are several inquiring minds who want to know!!! Your experience is helpful.. Congrats on making it to Plastics.. I am ready but my body isnt..I still need to loos about 50-75 more pounds.. Actually Medicare is pretty easy, as long as it is deemed medical they will pay for it. Also they do not pre approve. I ended up paying the Dr. $400 and the Hospital I think was $800. When I find a plastic surgeon I will see if they can get it through medicare . If not I guess I will just have to pay for it. Thanks for your replies Evie
