I AM APPROVED!!!
Congrats Dawn!! How exciting. I have said for years that I WILL get my boobs fixed one day when I'm 100% certain I'm done having babies (want to be sure to still be able to breastfeed), but that stupid nursing has RUINED me! LOL. Now that I'm for sure having WLS I can't help but think PS is in my future a couple years from now. Please post whatever you can about your experiences if you're willing. I'm sure whatever pain there is will be over with before you know it, and it will be worth it for you, so try not to worry too much about it. (I know, easier said than done!) I think it is wonderful that your insurance is going to cover this for you. congratulations again!!
Kim

Thanks Kim,
I am grateful that my insurance will cover this for me- but nervous! I look forward to it being OVER with! I will try to offer as much info and support as possible, I am a little intimidated, so it may take alot of courage to post my pics, but I am thinking of posting those as well! I will always answer ???'s though and give the info to FIGHT the insurance companies to get it if you need it!!!!
Good luck to you on your journey! You have many WOW moments to look forward to!
Hugz Dawn
Thanks Sherri-

Thanks Carla!!!
How are those grand babies doing???? Maybe, you can still look forward to it and make it happen! Document and maybe financing can be helped through insurance- I was lucky!!!
Thanks again- I will post hopefully Monday! That is when they said my date should be finalized! I am a nervous wreck, but I know that this is needed and am sure that I will be so grateful after I am all healed up and having my new WOW moments!
Thanks for your post and encouragement- I need ya! Hugz Dawn
Congrat's on the good news. I'm not sure what a "panni" is, but it sounds like it will repair your hernia problem and beautify you as well.
Can I ask what kind of documentation you are referring to when you mentioned to document everything?
I'm with Claudette, I'd like a thigh suction, tummy tuck, boob job and while they're at it I could use a little mini face lift too!
I'm with United Healthcare who was very easy to work with on my RNY (and I was a 38 BMI) but due to other medical conditions I had no problem getting approved. I've heard rumors the UHC allows one cosmetic surgery after one year. Anybody know anything about that?
Dawn, I'm sure your surgery will go well and like all surgeries you'll have some discomfort but just keep that morphine button in your hand like you're playing jeopardy!
My surgeon gave me liquid Loratab (Hydrocodone=generic) and it's the best pain killer I've ever used. I don't feel dopey and it truly helps with the discomfort.
Best of luck sweetie!
