Tuesday
Hello, how are you doing? I'm doing well. I am up to 74 pounds gone. I am feeling so well. I am wearing a size 18-20, and I was in a size 26-28 previous to surgery. It's just wonderful. I can't wait till I'm ready for plastics. I want to lost 61 pounds more. My goal is 150lb.
Yesterday, I went with my grandmother to an appointment in Gary, Indiana, for Vocational Rehabilitation. She is having vision problems. I was glad I went with her, since I work in Terre Haute's VR. I think they're going to be able to help her out.

Good morning!
Linda..I'm surprised that your grandmother had to go all the way up to Gary for Voc Rehab. Does she live up there? Bill's rep is here in Indy. The new visual techs they have out now are pretty sharp. You should see the klunky thing that was Shellie's first one! Anyway, glad your grandmother is getting the assistance she needs. What branch do you work for? We know someone who is with Voc Rehab in Richmond. She's a rep for the hearing disabled.
Congrats on the weight loss! Great job!

Hello all, hope everyone is enjoying the first day of spring today! It's a beaut!
Wow, I have SO many clothes to bring to the next clothing exchange! I've been going through stuff, and man, there is a LOT.
On a side note, is anyone crafty at all? Meaning, I have some material here for sewing. I was going to make patch work baby blankets out of most of it (way before I was even considering surgery) for some friends, but my sewing machine got stolen, so all it ever did was sit. There is also material for a baby blanket that just needs a backing and trim. If anyone wants it, please let me know and I'll bring it to the clothing exchange. I hate to toss it, but hubby and I agree- no junk is moving with us. If we haven't used it in the last year- it goes. And if you knew my husband at all, youd know that was a major battle I won, so I gotta live up to my end of it!
Sue had several districts and about 2 yrs or so ago did gain Richmond to her itenary. She didn't mind since she lives near there. Her last name now is Liming. Sue is about 5 yrs post-op and the last time saw her & Dick, she was trying to get approval (without much luck) to get some plastics done.

Hi
,
Congrats Linda- you are doing great!!
Hope you all are having a great day! I am going to daughters in Noblesville tonight to help them get ready to move- hubby is in Fla. now getting training set up for his new job- policeman in St. Pete. He officially leaves in May then they go in June after school ends. They are really trying to get the house ready to sell, and I get to keep the kids! We are going to have a huge moving/garage sale sometime soon, so I gotta get my stuff ready - and I have gobs of stuff to get rid of. It all goes to Goodwill afterwards- so either way it's gone~ which will make Hubby happy.
(((hugs)))

Linda, it sounds like you are doing great! My scale was stuck forever it seems like and then has finally started moving again, I am at 65 pounds down as of this morning, On Sat. am I dipped under 300, but am back up to 303 again. I am just thrilled to see it moving. How awesome to only have 61 pounds to go to your goal. You must feel so different! Looking forward to seeing you at the clothing exchange. I have a big test that I have to take for school that is 2 hours long that day. The test starts at 7:30 in the morning. Yuk!!! I will be needing some good fellowship with my loser friends by the afternoon for sure. Did your hubby ever get that job? I was wondering if I missed that info. Take care. Karen
