Happy Saturday

Well I am up and at work already. But only till noon. It is nice out this morning , didnt even have to wear a coat just a lite sweater. Got a busy weekend ahead of me. Building a platform bed for me and jim, giving all 8 puppies a bath for the first time. A few are going home to thier new mommy and daddys this weekend,... Wooohoooo..! Lol.. Oh and as long as its not storming out ..Lol I am going to make both of his sons get ou tin yard and help me clean it..Jim mean time will be in garage cleaning off his work bench and stacking a few boxes we have left from the move in. But rest asured I will take a few breaks and check in here and see what is going on.. Have a blessed day everyone vicki

I'm up a lot earlier than normal for a Saturday, but had kids kicking me in the back so couldn't sleep anymore! I'm off to a baby shower in Bloomington today for my husband's cousin. Might be fun. I don't know how many people I will know there though... Certainly the mom to be and aunt and grandma to be. I'm assuming my MIL and two SIL's were invited and will probably be there too. Maybe my husbands 96 year old grandma. Should be fun. I still have to go get a gift and probably figure out what to wear. she is pentecostal sp? and it is at church, so I figured I ought to wear a skirt or dress or something a little nicer than jeans. :0) If my one SIL is there who's had RNY I may decide to tell her I'm thinking about it. We'll have to see how I feel when I get there... Part of me is still afraid to tell anyone, but I'd not mind talking about it with her. Not sure if I'd want to share with my MIL at this point or not, especially since it is before any approval & might not end up happening if the insurance isn't cooperative. Happy Saturday to all! WOW what a nice day today! I'm starting to be hopeful about Spring now! I'm gonna head out to the garage and do some cleaning today. It's sucha mess from when the kids moved out (some of their 'hold on to this for me' stuff is all over). I need to make some sense of it to make room for some of the inventory that may get put in there if we aren't here to mee t UPS. Vicki, I hope you have fun at the shower! What kind of pups do you raise? Pure breds, or just mixes? My dog is 15, and I'm always thinking of another if she 'goes'. Everyone have a great day! HOPE

Morning everyone! Wow! Yesterday was contraction city for me! Turns out however that I was just dehydrated (how after drinking over a gallon of water I do not know) and tired. Happy to report that I'm contraction free so far today. Which means I should prolly go to the grocery store and get some stuff done. I'm out of water so I definatly have to go soon. I also need a new broom. Its really nice out today, think its time for another walk!

We picked up our foster dog yesterday. WooHoo! He's housebroken already! He will make someone a really good pet. He gets along with animals and kids, too. Took my daughter Maggie to her dance class this morning. It was 'visiting' day, so the parents got to sit in and watch. They do that once a month. It was pretty cute. Well, I'm at work from noon-midnight. It will be a long day. Someone post something, and give me something to read! Linda Vicory

welli got a lot done today . got the plat form made for my bed the front yard clean (somewhat) and started my spring cleaning,.and for the best thing of all tonight the puppies get a bath.. all 8 of the little fuzzy buggers. then its shower and rest with jim .. we have the house all to our selfs tonight. and sherri we will be there for tub&tea. have a blessed night all. vicki

what kind of doggie are you fostering? We wanted to do fostering for INdy friends of animals, where we got our lab mix from but... A- my lease says no more than three doggies, and we're at max capacity and B- i would get too attached and want to keep it. so hubby told me no. hehehe. poor guy. he's a good sport tho, they all sleep in the bed with us. Good thing we got that california king!

Dobbs (his name) is some kind of black lab mix. He looks like a black lab, but his legs are a little short for that breed. I know what you mean about wanting to keep them. I have fostered before and it's hard, but I know we can't really afford another dog, in terms of vetting one. Linda Vicory
