Got my insurance letter from Dr. Jones
Hi everyone! Hope you've all had a happy Friday. I'm so glad this week is over. I got home from work and found I'd received my letter and package from Dr. Jones to send to the insurance company. I didn't expect to get it until after my psych evaluation. I know it is not much, but I'm all excited about getting it anyway. So now I'm waiting on my letter from my PCP which my insurance says I don't need, but he's writing anyway, and all my records from his office showing my co-morbidities. He said he'd have it "at the weekend" so I don't know what that means exactly. I didn't get any calls from him today, so I figured if I don't get any calls from his office by Monday afternoon I may call them. And then the last bit should probably be my psych evaluation which is on the 15th. I may attempt to contact the Weigh****chers and see if they can give me any records, but I don't know if they keep that sort of thing. I have the little sign in card thingy from the last time I went, but nothing from the other times.
I feel like I'm on my way and this is coming together a little faster than I thought it would. Also I'm excited about the letter she wrote, because according to my insurance company it includes everything they say they require for approval. I wonder if they will renege on the "no, we don't require a 6 month diet" thing they've told me over the phone three times now...
Everyone have a great weekend!!

Oh, I'm waiting until I get my psych eval before sending in anything... I have the second half of that on the 15th, which I think is next Wednesday or Thursday. I did the written part at my first consultation at Dr. Jones' office. So I need that and the records and letter from my PCP and then will send everything in...
