Dr. Sloan

Can anyone give me any information on Dr. Sloan as far as personal experiences with him? Thank you Kim

I am from the Fort Wayne area so I know a little bit about him. He is a fairly new gastric bypass surgeon, maybe just the last 2-3 years. He is a very experienced general surgeon though and I know that he trained for Gastric bypass with a well known doctor, I can't think of who it is now. His dietician is a friend of mine and from what she has said it sounds like they have good pre and post op support. He does the surgery at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. Hope that helps

i was self pay at st. vincents for my RNY, but as i live in fort wayne, when my gallbladder needed to come out - i went to dr. sloan. he was nice, and competent...the GB surgery was a breeze. unfortunately, i can't comment on his WLS skills as i have no info on that topic! all the best. deb -276

Hi Kim, Dr. Sloan did not do my revision but he is taking care of me now along with Dr. Lippe. I was near death when i got back from Mexico and they both took care of me in the hospital here and i see Dr. sloan now. He is quite and to the point but knows what he is doing Good Luck
