Monday Monday

Good morning everyone! Darrah...get some sleep hon! You are going to wish you did once that little one gets here. The term 'sleep deprivation' was coined (in my opinion) for new parents! Vicki...good luck in getting a speedy approval! Kim & Angie...good luck at your doc's today. I hope you both get good news! Kathy...Feeling better now that the tube is out? I hope so! Tina...better? Those first 4-6 weeks are the worst! Once I was told I could have cheese & refried beans, my favorite was baked cheese crisps (bake ~2" mounds of shredded low fat cheese on parchment paper at 350 for 10-15 minutes. Cool well before storing). I would then spread refried beans on the crisp, sprinkle with shredded mozzarella and nuke for 10 seconds. It was like having a mini taco. Yummy. There's ways of getting creative but within what is allowed. Hehe..that's how I became the sf queen! LOL! I wanted FLAVOR and found legal ways of getting it! You can too..just become a label reader. Congrats to all the new approvals!! That's terrific! Whew, Carmen! Your date is quickly approaching! Can't wait to hear your take on PS. I'm checking into maybe going to Dr. Martin in Cincinati. As long as I gotta pay most out of pocket, might as well go to someone I really like and he impressed the heck out of me at the Lexi conference. You all have a terrific day! Sherri

Happy Monday all! (Sorry to all you weekly workers) but I do like Mondays, just remind me I said that when I'm complaining about the campground being full of grumpy people Mondays in the summer. It's the start of a brand new week of experiencing new things! And pretty soon Spring will be here too! (one can only hope ) Well, I'm off for one last trip before working for 7 months. Going to go visit DH's mom in Florida. Will be back Friday, but won't have internet while I'm gone so I'll catch up when I get back. Did I mention she said it would be in the 70's? Just thought I'd drop that in there for all of us sick of the cold. Of course this means I'll probably be sick again when I get home, so that will be my payback. BTW the Doc said it was the varioius allergens I was having issues with while traveling. Apparently I''m hyper-sensitive to various allergens and untreated congestion leads to infections, etc. So he changed then upped my allergy meds and gave me a nose spray too. Hopefully that will do the trick. We'll see by this time next week. The Cat must know I'm going away cuz she's sitting on my arm and purring loudly while I'm trying to type, covering half my lap top. Oh I really liked him too! I have some paperwork from him if you want it. You may have it, I got it in lexi. I just couldn't stay gone for the two weeks that he wants you to stay in a hotel. That would be too much for my family. I am so nervous!! I can hardly think straight! I wi**** would hurry up and be Thursday already!! The Dr. office called me today and needed my measurements for the compression garment. That got my stomach turning!!! So I do have a question! Are you taking any before pictures of your bod? Carmen, I got some stuff while in Lexi, but if you have someything, sure, I'll take it. It may be something different than what I have. I didn't know he wanted you to stay in a hotel for 2 weeks. Hmm.....I'll have to think on that one. Bill would be staying with me so it wouldn't be too bad if we had one with a restaurant very nearby since I doubt I'd be able to drive much during then. I am definately taking before pics! And many, many after pics...'at 1 week, at 4 wk, at 3 months, etc'... Inquisitive minds want to know so I plan on having pics just in case anyone asks. Besides, it'd be good for self comparison. I would also imagine that those first few weeks, you'll be asking yourself what in the heck you did. Before pics will remind you of why you did it. I'd love for you to make it to the tub party. Tub's not required for anyone! I'd like to get your take on the ps..while it is still extremely fresh in your mind. I will pull my whole PS file and copy it for you. I will bring it to the tea or stick it in the mail. I told hubby that he needed to bring his camera to bed tonight, and he looked very excited about that. LOL I have a feeling that he may be a little misguided by my intent. Thanks, Carmen
