OK< so I'm a couple days late because of internet connectivity issues. Here Goes... I'm 42 yrs old and had WLS 5/05 (Lap Band) and have lost 107lbs since. I am married (rnd 2) to a great guy, Peter, have 4 boys from my first marriage - Brian is 22 and in college for culinary arts in NY state (my own personal chef) Nick will be 21 4/1 and is working at a local factory (he has mild Cerebral Palsy and I'm proud of the fact he refuses to live on the system, despite his disability) , Rob is 19 and is also working at a local factory (he is hoping to go to North Eastern University in Boston, MA - we're originally from Mass), and then my youngest Matthew is 17 going on 25. Matt moved out last month - in with a friend- he finished high school early and is working at a local (no not factory) Engineering company. His goal is to be a mechanical engineer or architect, apparently he's very good and has had additional job offers form companies he has done work for. He moved out because he didn't like our house rules , and we rarely hear from him. We hope he will be going to college in the fall, but he likes the $$$ he's making now (17 yrs old and he makes apx $15 p/hr already). He did look into a school in his field in Michigan (I liked it too) but now his interest is one in NYC. So I have no kids living at home now, and my husband says he's gonna go out and get me another one if I don't stop 'bossing' him around I have 2 cats (adopted on our campground) and 1 15yr old Yorkie-Pom (dog) I'm a survivor of 10yrs of domestic violence in my first marriage and am working with a ministry for victims in our area. Peter and I own and opperate a KOA campground in Middlebury (since 2002) and I will have a post all about that shortly ( a few people have asked about info) So, that's the 'diddy' on me! Hope

I had my RNY on July 12, 2006.... Im just over 7 months out and Ive lost over 150 lbs. I have about 80 to go. Everything went so smoothly. Ive not had any problems (knock on wood). I reccomend St V's and Dr. Cacucci to everyone I meet. You cant go wrong with either of them. Im now into a size 18 from a 32. Life couldnt be better. I have so much energy. I would do it all again in a heartbeat. Im looking forward to having plastic surgery probably sometime around July. Im waiting to see how Carmens goes next week and how Saras goes....These two ladies have been my role models since I first had my surgery. Im 43 yrs old. Married for the last 2.5 yrs and very happy. The last month has been like better than our honeymoon. Losing wt brings all kinds of suprises. I was born in Ohio and went to college there. I have a BSN in nursing and have worked for the state of IN for the last 10 yrs. I plan on leaving my job on May 19 and not sure yet if I will be a housewife for the summer or look for a new job right away. My husband works for FedEx at the airport so we are looking to move closer to Indy really soon. We are looking for 5-20 acres on the east side of Indy...if anyone knows of a good place....let me know. If u are a realtor let me know that too!!!! Well guess thats about it...I have no kids just a beautiful Russian Blue kitty cat named Princess Annie and 14 fish.

Well I'm just a tad late on this. Let's see my names Samantha (obviously) I am 24, soon to be 25 in May and had Lap RNY on 7/18/06. So far to date I have lost 86 pounds and would like to lose another 74 if possible but would happily settle for 54. I live with my boyfriend Eric. We met while going to school at Indiana State and have been together 4 years. We just purchased our first home in December. If all goes as planned, we will be getting engaged this year and hopefully have a Loser wedding sometime after. We also have a spoiled Yorkie name Kiwi who is my baby. Her wardrobe is always growing. We also have a cat whos name is Simba. He and Kiwi are best friends. They can be seen and heard wrestling throughout the house daily. I currently work for the State in the Division of Aging. I am doing their Promotions and Marketing work. I love penguins, Napoleon Dynamite, shopping (esp. Target) and sugar free popsicles/fudgesicles. I would live off of them if I could. I post pretty sporadic on this site but do stop by to read posts everyday. What a great idea Sherri!! Sam

A little late too but here goes, My name is Sarah and first and formost I love the Lord and I thank him daily for all the blessings he has given me. I'm 35, 5'2.5" and started at 258 had RNY on 12/14/05 and have lost 117 pounds. I'm happily married for 10 years to Ron. We have two daughters together, Paige 9 and Jadyn 3. Ron has a daughter from a previous relationship Erika 12 who lives full time with us, her mom lives about 2.5 hours away, so my job is to be her role model and I love it. She was 15 months old when Ron and I started dating so she doesn't know life without me. Jadyn has a chronic respiratory condition called primary ciliary dyskenisa, similar to cystic fibrosis but her life expectancy is near normal. Just has lots infections in her ears nose and lungs. I have a BSN in nursing but do not work as a nurse, although with Jady so sick it has sure come in handy, when I was nursing I worked in the heart unit. I now work in my family's business DeKalb Distributing. We are Budweiser distributors, My dad is still active here, but my 2 brothers and I run it. I love it because I have a ton of flexibility with my schedule. We have a new puppy, a yorkie named Quincy so finally Ron has another male in the house. I love to shop, I love designer purses and try to collect them , I love to go to the spa, I want to lose 10 more pounds, but if I don't I'll be happy. I love to go to auctions, I love sarcasm, I like my men like I like my coffee, My oldest daughter loves sports, my middle daughter loves to dance and boy is she good, and my youngest likes to wear her bath robe everywhere. I love Dale Earnhardt Jr.,being a bud distributor has its advantages as I've met him quite a few times. I love to go to the beach my family has a condo on Madeira Beach in Florida so we go quite a few times a year. I like to go boating and tubing, but I can't ski, just can never figure it out. I love my family and I think my husband and kids are the funniest people I know. My new favorite protein is achieve one mocha java, I wish I would have had it the first 6 weeks after surgery. I struggle at getting in all my protein. I've had no serious complications, just been dehydrated a few times, and a low vitamin d. I am so thankful for this site and for everyone on here, and good luck to all the newbies.

Sherri - What an awesome idea! My life has been crazy this week, so I have not had time to get on here. I definitely need to get my daughter to take my picture and get it on here. My name is Karen. I had surgery with Dr. Inman on 12/20/06. I had several complications after surgery, but am doing ok now. My biggest problem is that I am on Coumadin now due to blood clots and so I now can't take my arthritis medicine, Celebrex. I am in quite a bit of pain and getting around is difficult. So far I have lost 58 pounds. I have been stuck for over 2 weeks now. Yuk! I teach deaf children in a small school in Adams County, which is about 30 miles south of Fort Wayne. I love teaching and had surgery because I had a lot of health issues and my health was declining. I knew I would not get to continue to do what I love if I did not get this weight off. I am 5'4" and started out at 368 pounds. I am divorced and am living with my 30 year old daughter and 6 year old granddaughter. I am supporting my daughter while she is going through college. This has been a good arrangement. I love seeing my granddaughter grow up and love being her Nana. I love to read in my spare time and look forward to summer vacation when I can curl up with a book for most of the day if I want to. This summer will be different. I will only get to read after I have walked. So that will be good incentive. I have thoroughly enjoy meeting the people on this board. I have made some good friends to date and am looking forward to meeting a lot of new faces at the next clothing exchange in April. My loss: 58 IN loss: 2,079 !!!!! Wow, we are awesome!!!!!
