Tuesday
Hello all! Where is everyone today? I went to the Terre Haute support group last night. It was good to see people again there for any of you reading this. I hope the clothing exchange, after the support group, went well. I had to leave and put my daughter Maggie in bed, and couldn't stay for that. I will just have to wait for our OH one in April
!
Tonight I'm going to work with my trainer at the TH Family Y. We do weight lifting. She's teaching me how. Hopefully, I'll get to the point where I feel comfortable going to the gym on my own for weights, but I'm still not there yet.
Say, last night someone was talking about calcium, and another person said, you're not taking those all at once are you? Is there some reason you shouldn't take them together? I take my vitamins in the morning, and my calcium in the afternoon. I space each one about 10 minutes apart though. Just wondering.

Good morning everyone!
Jay's (my son) surgery went well yesterday. The pathology report won't be in until ~Friday, but we're hopeful that it will come back ok. I haven't been able to see Jay yet. They didn't have a room for him even though surgery was scheduled a month ago so he is STILL in the recovery room! His surgery was at 11 yesterday morning (got done ~3:45). After I do some things here at work, I'm going to try to get in to see him. They wouldn't let me back there yesterday (I gave up ~9 pm last night), hopefully, they will today.
I wanted to let you all know that I got another email address if anyone needed to get hold of me. It's: [email protected].
Have a good day everyone...

Good morning everyone!
Today will start with an oh-so-exciting trip to walmart, followed by taking the puppy for her rabies shot. Other than that, just house werk UGH.
Sure hope that Jay is doing well Sherri. I can't believe they wouldn't let you see him. Hope you have better luck with that today.
I used to belong to the Y, too. But after I ripped my joint this summer, I figured it'd just be flushing good money down the drain since I've been on what feels like house arrest since September. Another good reason for baby to hurry up already. I want my joint fixed so I can get back to running. I can't believe at one opint I was running 3.5 miles a day. Now I'm not even allowed to walk around the block.

Good Morning everyone,
Not much new here. Sherri, I'm glad to hear Jay's surgery went ok. I can't believe they were that full!! That's awful that a Mom can't somehow see her son. I can understand them not wanting you in the recovery room, but you would think they could roll him into the hallway or something for a bit since he was recovered. Surely you will see him today.
Darrah---good to see you posting regularly again. Sounds like you are in better spirits, that's good. Hey, do you want those maternity clothes or should I just take them to the next clothing exchange?
Well, it's housework for me today. I have to clean the carpets and my boys bathroom. I hope everyone else is doing well today.
Ta Ta!!

Hey Linda!! At least you take your calcium!! The reason that you are not supposed to take all your calcium at one time is your body only has a finite number or calcium receptors. So, those receptors will grab all that they can and the rest is wasted. Space your calcium out for sure!!!
Hope you are doing well. I am at a little over 80 pounds. I am so looking forward to wearing skirts and dresses!!! I have missed that.
Take care. Talk to ya later!!!!
Thanks for the info, Melanie! I am doing pretty well. I am down 63 pounds, so that's going good. I found out today my protein levels are too low though. I got some blood work done Friday, and Dr. Inman's office called today to let me know. I need to be getting more protein. I went out and bought some bars today.

Happy Tuesday!

Trying to get alot of campground work done, but it's next to impossible when I'm having internet troubles. Had no idea I was so dependant on the internet!
I hope the tech guy coming today will solvve our problem!
Hope to see you all on the boards later!

Hi everyone,
Sherri,
I am so glad Jay's surgery went well- but can't believe they wouldn't let you see him!!!
I have never heard of them doing this and hope you get to see him today. Sending you my love and prayers.
Darrah,
So glad to see you posting- and remember it won't be long before your little girl is here & you'll be pushing that stroller all over- walking the floor- talk about exercise!
Hope,
Did you say CAMPGROUND- SEND ME THE DETAILS!!! My Hubby & I love to camp!!
Linda,
I take my calcium 3 differant times a day- after my meals. Then I don't forget it. I hope to make it to the next exchange- just depends on wether we are here or not!
Everyone-
Hope you have a great day !!
(((hugs)))

Ellen,
I was finally able to see Jay. They got him in a room ~10 (ONLY 23 hours since his surgery!). He's in alot of pain and the pain/pain meds is making him not even be able to keep ice chips down. They do have him on an IV though to be sure he doesn't dehydrate. They FINALLY gave him something for the nausea about an hour ago. I'm sure there are some good staff members at Wishard, but other than his surgeon, I'm still waiting to meet a single one!
Thank you for your prayers sis. We sure do need them right now.
Sherri
