My WOW Moment
Well, in my 9th week out and down 40 lbs. I used to cry and have to stop 1/2 way from walking from the parking garage into the building I work in. Just 4 weeks after surgery, I had lost 25 lbs, and no more pain during that trip. I haven't had any hiatal hernia issues when I used to hurt EVERY, and I mean EVERY day!! The swelling in my legs has lessened. So many things to be thankful for.
My biggest WOW, is going from a size 22 to an 18.
I feel blessed and am so grateful that God gave people like Dr. Cacucci the desire, wisdom, knowledge, to do what she does. I wonder if she ever knows just how much she has touched people's lives? I am more than blessed. Well, I think I better let her know and send her a card. Goodness, I didn't think I'd get this emotional.
Well, you just often wonder if they truly realize the happiness and hope that they give people. I just think it is so cool. I have learned so much in such a short time, and this whole experience I believe has made me a better all around person, and I'm just beginning. Oh well, I guess I had to just get all this out and who best to share it with than people who truly understand.
Thanks , it's funny, before surgery, when she came in to see me I told her "Heh there Doc, you got an angel right on your shoulder, I see it." She just smiled. I knew I was in good hands.

Some of our roads have been rough.. but some have been smooth sailing but what ever path we took on our journey.. it was SO M UCH BETTER than staying content at where we were.
