Support Groups

With my surgery coming up in a couple of weeks, I realized that I havent gotten in my 2nd support group meeting required by the psych. I dont want that to be a problem, so I am going to try to get it in. I have a list of the St Vincent support groups, but I would like to verify the times. I would also be interested in other groups. Something closer that St.V would be nice since I live southwest of Indianapolis. Any info??? Thanks, Linda

Well, I have a question about this too. I also read on the website that they have a support group in Anderson on the 1st Tuesday of the month (or tonight) from 7 - 8:30. That is about a half hour from my house. I'd really like to attend that tonight, but was wondering if anyone out there goes to this group if you know if it is still on tonight in light of all the snow that is supposed to be coming. I'd hate to drive a half hour to Anderson only to get there and find out it was cancelled. Thanks to anyone who can let me know (or who might know where I can call to ask??) Kim :0)

Kim, I have no idea about the groups as far as who will still have them and who won't. I would guess that the best bet would be to call St. V's and ask them. Personally, with the roads what they are, I wouldn't travel too far! Sherri

OK, I was able to find a phone number to call about the Anderson meeting tonight, and just in case anyone was wondering, they have cancelled for tonight. Kim :0)
