ok I have to come out of the closet

Hi I am Crystal and I SMO. I have been researching WLS for 5 years now. I have sought insurance approval 2 times now and been denied both times. I have a fresh shot with a new insurance company coming up and I want to do it "right" so I have to research the insurance company and figure out how to get around their wording so that I can get approved. I have been obese all of my life starting at birth when I was almost 10 pounds. Never once in my life has my weight been normal. I have been lurking here at OH for 4 years on several boards. I just don't feel like I have a lot to contribute at this point. I do hope to contribute soon though! I guess that is all for now. Have a great Day Crystal

Welcome Crystal!! I am new here as well. I just submitted for my surgery and hope that I have done everything right. I have been researching for only 2 years, but decided in August to start getting things together. I may not be much help, but think that I am a great listener!! Becky

welcome crystal..... we are at the same point in our journy to being big loosers. i live on the west side of indy and if you ever want to go walking let me know i would love to have a walking partner . i started my supervised weight loss last week so by the time i get back from vacation i will be ready for all the hoop jumping to get mine done. i have everything just have to visit the doc and get it going. best of luck to you with insurance . by the way who is the new insurance provider. i work for anthem BC/BS maybe i can help with terminolgy if need be... here is my email address for any who want it.
