How long were you off work after surgery
I took off 6 wks. Just because it was available for me. I felt good enough that I could have goen back after 2 or 3 wks. For my job it was easier to plan for the longest possible than try to get someone to replace me if I came back sooner and couldn't hack it. I don't do a lot of lifting but I do a lot of either bending or sitting in front of a computer. I don't have anyone working with me to relieve me if I couldn't do it. So I just used the 6 wks paid that I had saved up for.
Tracy,
I agree with Lisa. I have been off 3 weeks and have another week off. It's not just a matter of physically being able to do it to me. There is so much planning and making sure to do everything you need to do. It was hard for me, but if you are a very very organized person then you might be okay going back as soon as some others. I know for me, I couldn't have until about 3 weeks. To me there is so much difference between people. Is your blood sugar, blood pressure okay? What is your energy level? You'll know more afterward. Good Luck with everything.
