I had my final appointment with the Dr before surgery. The one for my physical. My labs came back ok, my blood sugar was high, but I expected that. He said I should do great and released me for surgery. So I'm ready. These next two weeks are going to feel like FOREVER.... I can't believe it's so freaking cold... I hate the cold, I really wish I had moved somewhere where they didn't even know what snow was... I hate driving in it, and I hate getting out of bed in the morning and freezing... I hope everyone has a great day today, and a safe drive where ever they are going. Sherri I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers through out the day... Darrah, if you get on, ::Hugs:: Take care everyone!! Jessyca

Tania- I just noticed your surgery is the same a jessyca's. I'll be in Indy the 15 & 16 while my husband is in conference. I'm going to stop and meet Jessyca since I'll be in the St. V area. If I can get directions to St. F (is that where you will be?) I'll try to stop to meet you also. I know after surgery you won't be at your best but I'll have a captive audience and we can take a walk around the loop. The next two weeks will fly by for you two. This surgery has made such a difference in my life it make me so excited for others starting on the journey. I'm also looking forward to the superbowl this weekend. I don't care who wins. We are getting together with friends and it will be a blast.

I'm in my final 2 weeks before surgery as well. (2/12!) I just had my pre-op class yesterday and I also can't wait for that magic day to arrive. Enjoy any foods that you have between now and then, but please remember...any loss between now and then increase your chances of having a good surgery! I am using this 2 weeks to step into the behavior modification so that it won't be such a shock afterwords. I am a creature of habit so I am trying to imprint the good behaviors now. It's hard, but I am going to try to drop 5 - 15 pounds before surgery. As to the cold...when you're right, you're right! It's cold!!!!!!!! Good luck with your WLS and all that follows.
