Born this day in the city of Mooresville

Devon Reis was 7 lbs 9 ounces 19 inches long with a beautiful round face.. a little dark hair and BIG hands and feet to grow into.. Lost my daddy at the beginning of last week and ended the week with the arrival of my grandson.. who says life isnt fair?? I am SOOO sorry that I didnt make it to the Ornament exchange.. I was ready to leave. had my hair all done and I got "the call" he took his time getting here but I got to spend some quality time with his big brother.. Love and thanks to all who understood and sent well wishes. Special thanks to Angie who took over as the hostess with the mostest and delivered the stockings for me. Linda

Congratulations Grandma, I am sure the big brother loved his time spent with you! I cherish my memories of my one on one with my grandma! I am so sorry that you have had a tough week, my thiughts have been with you! I sure did miss ya Saturday, was hoping to give ya a hug, I will send a cyber hug instead! Linda, Many, many congrats. I am sorry that you had lost your father, but with their being a few days in-between, perhaps he needed to go to heaven to spend a few days with the little one before he was born. It's so good to spend time one on one with the grandchildren, isn't it? I know I treasure the time I can spend with mine. Hopefully, it won't be while waiting for another one to be born for a long, long time to come! LOL! We missed you at the ornament exchange, but more than understand! Sherri

Linda, I sure missed meeting you last Sat. night, but it is not everyday that we get a new grandbaby so I understood completely. Congratulations! So sorry to hear about your dad. God sometimes takes a loved one away and gives us another one to love. Enjoy that new baby. I have the opportunity to live with my daughter and granddaughter while I am putting my daughter through college. I wouldn't trade this time with my little Emily for anything. Enjoy St. V's party.
