I have lost my touch

i can not longer cook..more like baking which i so love, i made an apple crisp, peach pie, clover leaf rolls just to name a few things that were not worth a crap....how could anyone mess those up i have no idea...

You can still cook!!! I went through a stage like that. I got so pissed off that I burnt 4 dozen of my famous blueberry streusel muffins, that I threw my muffin pans away. It will pass.

I know what you mean... when you nolonger can eat them it seems like they just are not as important as they used to be.. and making them we just dont put the love in em we used to.. Linda

Well, atleast this is one thing I don't have to worrry about too much. I don't cook or bake now. I will probably do so *more* after surgery, because I won't be eating out all the time! I'm going to have to learn to cook. Maybe I'll start going to the cooking class at St. V. Linda

Gosh, I used to love to bake! For me, I think I was such a good baker back in the day because I loved to eat so much I put a lot of time and effort into it. But now I don't try as hard b/c I can't eat it! But I am going to make a few Xmas cookies this year; cut out sugar cookies and kiefles (? spelling). Hopefully they will come out decent! Jaimee
