no not had a revision, is something wrong with the RNY as to why you would want or need one? I have a friend that had the RNY in 01 and she never lost the weight, she wanted, then gained all she lost as well, she went to Weigh****chers and her tool is still working for her, with the ww, she has lost what she gained back and then some...

Karen, I had to have a revision 6 months after my RNY. For me, it was the only option since the stoma kept ripping (perforating, leaking). I would close up (sticture), and during the endo, it would rip. Did it work? Yes. Would I recommend it? For the reason I had it, yes, definately. It did start me all over again at 1 oz..but of course, I was only up to about 3-4 oz by then anyway. I am assuming that your stoma has stretch too big. That seems to be the most common reason a person who is a few years post-op contemplates having a revision. I would suggest your getting your surgeon involved in the decision making process. Perhaps a revision isn't needed, but just a getting back to basics and measuring everything. Good luck with whatever you decide to do. Sherri
