UPDATE ON MARY BROWN

I just got a call from a friend of Mary's. Surgery went well just a little long due to scar issue. MARY, you are in our prayers. Hugs, Gail

Gail Thanks for the update and we continue to lift Mary up in prayers. If she is still in the hospital on Friday afternoon, Ann and I will stop in and pay her a visit. I have my one year check up at 1:30. Will take a gift bag with us unless someone else has dropped one off to her. Dan

Gail, Thanks for putting the update in. I was a little bit of a space cadet when Mary's friend called me (Trudy? Tracey?) and with me still on the 24/7 bed rest thing, don't get to the pc much during the day. Since I knew the tylenol w/codiene was just kicking in when she called, I made sure to take notes on everything else. Here's the gist of my note-taking: Mary is at St. Vincent, Carmel in room 253. Her number there is 317-582-7622. I'm sure Mary would love to hear from people but given that her surgery ran a little long between the scar tissue & her heart, I'd wait till tomorrow. Surgery also started about an hour late so it's been a very long day for her. If I hear more, i'll let you all know..well..on a bathroom trip with a sidestep in to puter room..lol... Sherri

Gail - Thanks so much for the update. I have been praying for Mary and hoping something would be posted soon to let us know of her progress. I will continue to pray for her. Hope you are feeling better too. Sherri, take care of that toe. My sister had the same surgery about 2 years ago, complete with the pin you have now. She said it definitely was no fun. Lots of pain. But two years down the road it is definitely worth doing. She lives in Chicago and has a LOT of walking to do. God Bless you all. Karen
