Newbie

Hello, I am new to this board. I am strongly considering weight loss surgery. I have followed a lot of you on this board and your successes are so encouraging. My pcp called Dr. Inman's office to get me referred, (that is who a lot of people from my area have used) and the person on the phone was very rude to my pcp's office. In fact they hung up on them. Has anyone esle had this problem? Any info you can provide would be helpful. I know she has a lot of experience, but I don't have to go to her. Thanks in advance, and I look forward to conversing with you.:-)

I am sure it was an accident or something, I have never heard anything but good about Dr. Inman, My Dr. is Dr. Huse and he is an associate of Dr. Inman and I have never been treated rudely in their office. Dr. Huse' secretary is Fran and she has always been so nice and helpful to me. by the way Dr. Huse is great, i was so impressed with him i have used him for another surgery sense my RNY .. Please dont give up on Dr. Inman, please try again. perhaps there was some reason for what happened. I dont think you will be sorry. If you decide to go with some one else you will find alot of great Drs. listed on this site. I look at others profiles and click on their Drs. Name and check out the cradentials. hi, and welcome....I believe all the surgeons in our area are all very skilled.....its picking one out....I had the best, though...lol......sure would not know why someone would have been rude....obesity is their job security.... and i do not beleieve the drs in that office would approve of that...

Valerie: Hang in there! I'm not sure what happened with that call to make the person so rude but I can assure you that Dr. Inman's office is very nice to work with. I give Dr. Inman and her staff I hope that the person you dealt with was just having a bad day. If that happens again, please address it with Dr. Inman. Best Wishes and big hugs Claudette

Thanks to all of you who posted. I agree that the person must have been having a bad day. We will try again this week. I am out of town visiting my sister for a few days so sorry about the delay in posting. I hope everyone has a good day and will let you know how the second try goes.
