Making it Though the Week end

My last week end as pre - op, WOW. I do have a few plans but mostly will be just chillin and making sure I have everything I need for when I get home. I not planning on going to my favorite place to eat. Thats one of the ways I got where I am. I did lose a few pounds, my PCP was very proud of me for that. I hope to get a better pic on my profile and I want all as friends. Everyone has so much support for me, and I sure know where to go to find it. Hugs, Gail Have a great week end !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gail !!!!!! I will see you Tuesday!!!! My hair is shorter, but I still look like that chick in the AV. I'm scheduled for 10:00 am, on the 24th. My spouse will be there and my mom. *hugs* I have gotten myself off of caffeine and soda. . . I've been sipping my water too. lol. I however have enjoyed one special treat a day and the kids have had a blast with me. It was fun to include them in my "last meal" moments as the pre op nurse called them. lol. I even told them from now on when I say. . ."bring me this..." they are to say, Doctor's orders are for you to get it mom. lol. . .I've gotten a lot of my own stuff this week. LOL! I will look for you Tuesday. Congrats to us!!!!!!

Deanna !!!!!! I will be looking for you. I'm at 8:00 am. I have been off cokes for awhile, but I have been having trouble doing that sip,sip,siping. But, I'm working on it. We finally are going to be on that "loser bench" together . I will be looking for you too and you are right Congrats to us!!!!!!!! Hugs, Gail

Oh sweetie you willl have NO problem sipping AFTER surgery!! I promise!! The first time you DRINK and it comes right back up as easy as you please... It will be an experience to remember.. Best of luck to you on your surgery!!! I had my last meal at the Outback.. I love steak and wasnt able to eat it again for about 17 months!! And still not a whole one.. The waitress at the Outback was so happy for me that she gave me a lobster tiny fork for all my future meals!! Love and best wishes, Remember keep the pictures in your new album!!
