Thursday...

Good morning everyone! Well, surgery plans are set for my left foot on Nov. 3rd (1pm). I had asked the podiatrist about my vacation time and he told me to use it up now. So...not including today, I have 10 working days left between tomorrow & the 3rd...and 56 hours (7 days) vacation! I think I'm going to work 4 hours every day except next Monday, Thursday & Friday..I'll take them off all day. I think I can handle that. Try to stay dry today! Sherri

My gosh Sherri, I'd love to have a work schedule like that for a while. BUT I don't want to have foot problems to do it! Guess you have some time now to start getting ready for the holidays. they will be here before we know it. November 3rd I'll be sitting in the mountains. (Smokies) I can't wait to get away for a few days. We have a cabin rented down there. Planning on also going to the Biltmore in Ashville to see the Christmas lights that go up on the 4th. sherri,I met (or remet) a gal that works there at Lilly. She is a team leader in the department that does the product labeling. She used to work for Dupont and she came to our lab to install a instrument over 10 years ago. Last weekend I was helping a friend manage their farm open house (they raise alpacas) There was another couple from a farm near Kokomo that brought some of their animals. We started talking and discovered we had actually met before. It sure can be a small wrold. Her name is Beth Sheets incase you run into her some time there. Pamela How ya doing. I never did hear you say what you do at the hospital. We got interrupted when talking at the exchange and I've been meaning to ask ever since. well I've got a lot of work to do and it won't get done like this. Gotta go

Morning, and it sure is ugly out there, my dumb ass, took on 4 extra kids for the night, i knew i would have my grandkids.....but my aunt and her daughter in law went out of town and the cousin that was to watch them got sick...i do not blame her at all..LOL...so i have 2 girls and 4 boys ages 6-11....and rainy....I have all sorts of craft things...for them to do, books, markers, beads....soooooo not like i can go any place with 6 kids...my car will only hold 5 people...lol i could take 4 and leave 2 here...i may just take off and leave them anyway....LMAO....i need to go cut a switch...LMAO...2 of these boys are something else..and i believe should be on some sort of meds......good grief!!!!!!! i may need some nerve pills, anyone have any? needs to be a law against days off from school...anyways i bet i do not do this again any time soon....good grief..... Are you ready for that 2nd foot? got your santa shopping done? or will you be able to do that? think i am in need of a 2nd cup of coffee this morning....and a chill pill.....

Jan & Angie... No, I'm not ready for foot #2..but I am ready to be able to walk & exercise again so I'll do what I need to do to be able to. I'm not santa ready either. I'll be trying to get some of that done with the time off of work I'm taking. I won't be able to do it after the 3rd..until ~ Dec. 22nd. So in other words, gotta get it all done now. The only one I have completely done is my mil. Well, I'll probably get her a gift certificate for Lincoln Square and then I'll be done. She loves the food there. I've got a start on the grandkids, but nothing much at all for my girls, and nothing at all for the men in my life (dh, son, sil). Even Bill is reminding me to leave time to shop! ...and he NEVER does THAT! Haha!! Sherri
