What is an angel?

it says I do not have an angel yet. is that scary? what is a angel and how do I get one?

Tracey, An angel is someone who is kinda a contact person...one who will let the board know how you're doing when you are newly post-op and are there for you should you have any questions or need anything. You get one by asking someone if they would be willing to be your angel and then enter their name in on your profile here. This gives them access to your surgery page to enter updates on your condition. Don't let the words 'your condition' scare you..it usually would envolve 'Tracey's doing great and is expected to go home tomorrow.' or 'Tracey says to tell everyone hi and that she's walked 4 laps so far.' Of course, you don't have to go through an 'angel' to get questions answered..we're all pretty good at throwing out our opinions on here. And you aren't limited to only an 'angel' being able to visit you while you are in the hospital. An angel IS expected to go to the hospital though so they can let everyone know how you're doing. I see, thank you. I dont want to ask someone to come to the hospital, I would feel bad, but if anyone is up there on the 17th I will give them a update. Thank you. you people are so nice.
