For anyone who wants to keep up with me I thought I would give a little update since I don't post much but LURK all the time. I am now officially into my 2nd trimester!! I am 14 weeks and in 5 more weeks we will know if we are having another boy or our first girl. I am really thinking it is another boy, but I will know for sure very soon. I have only gained 1 pound so far but eat every two hours. I have been unable to eat more than 5 oz at a time at a real meal, but they said as long as I eat every two hours that is ok. I am supposed to try to get between 1800 and 2000 calories in a day. I am not sure I do that but am going to have to star****ching it more now that I am getting bigger. I do have a little belly on me now. My hernia is popping out a lot more too. Dr Inman is going to repair it at the same time my csection is happening. I figure that I am already there with the baby I might as well have it fixed and get the extra help and care from the nurses at one time instead of trying to get it done later. It will be a small incision high on my belly so I will have two surgeries that day basically. Needless to say I might be there an extra day in the hospital. It is worth it though considering the OR will be covered already and so will my anethesia. Moneywise, it is the right answer. Not to mention, I could definately use the extra help from the nurses while I am there. So how could I not do the surgery then? I just wanted you all to know I lurk all the time and am keeping up with you all, yet I don't post too much. I have had a lot of panic attacks and other issues lately that have just kept me to myself. I am hoping to see you all soon at some gathering or such. I miss seeing you all!

I'm so glad to hear that things are going well! Looks like we're about 4-5 weeks apart. I'm ready for Thanksgiving time so we can find out what we're having! I'm supposed to get 1800 calories a day too, but I'm pretty sure I'm not. I just don't feel like I can eat most of the time. Hopefully that will pass soon, as I don't want to go on IV nutrition, but if I have to, I have to. At least you'll get all your surgery taken care of at once, and that pesky hernia will be gone. I'm going to try to deliver naturally, but won't be too surprised if I end up with a C-section. My mom had all three of us via C-section. Again, I don't really WANT to, but if I have to, then I have to. Good luck, I can't wait to hear what you're having!

I have already had two csections so one more is nothing for me. We are finding out the baby's sex on October 19! I am so excited. I do think it is another boy, but if so I have almost everything I need already. If it is a girl, it will be like starting over for me. I am going to try my darndest to be at the clothing exchange. If nothing else, just to see everyone and socialize! I miss seeing everyone. Darrah~ Keep doing more foods that are liquidy rather than solid. If you can tolerate more things like yogurt and cottage cheese and soft foods, you will be able to get in all your stuff. My problem is the hernia is pushing on my belly making it difficult to eat anything BUT liquidy soft stuff sometimes. So near the end, I may have to go on those protein shakes! YIKES! I better start trying some out now to find ones I like or at least can tolerate. Good to hear you are doing well also!

Leah, I follow your update on the other site but don't post much on that site, I just want to say your are in my thoughts. I love your pic on the other site the pic are totally different. Wow, sometimes being pregent is hard enough without worring about the hernia. I hope things go well. Are peopleing able to notice the hernia in your clothing? LisaB

Hi Leah, It sounds like you are doing really well, inspite of all your going thru. I am looking forward to seeing you in Oct. & can't wait to hear if it is a "she or he". I know Dr. Inman will do a great job of fixing up that old hernia & you will feel like a new woman! Just remember to take it easy, till then.( I know, with little ones it is hard. Thats where Hubby comes in, right?!) (((hugs))) Ellen
