I know it's only been one week since my packet went in for insurance approval, and I'm pretty sure it will pass muster anyhow, but it just seems that time is now moving at a slower pace. I've been looking at my monthly planner and speculating how much time I'll have from approval to surgery, thinking about time off and how much PTO I'll use (probably every hour in my bank), and even "what will my diet be like at the holidays"...... Nevertheless, there's nothing I can do to hasten time, so I wait. Never have been the patient one (pun).....

Jeff You are right it is out of your hands right now. I know this is the hardest part of our journey. I had my surgery last Nov 8 and managed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years just fine. I was on the shrimp kick for Christmas and New Years and that helped me. Dan
