Glad to hear you are doing better. I was wondering why we hadn't seen a post from you for a while. I get on every day and read all the post and replies but don't often have much to add. Wish I lived closer, I'd be at the exchange Saturday. I would love to meet you all in person. Someday I will just make the drive. This saturday we have a riding clinic to attend. Big thrill in my life right now is I got a new car! It is a 05 Grand Prix GT. Yes and new 05. no miles on it yet. (cheaper in gas and insurance) We keep our cars 6 to 8 years so the year doesn't matter. Have you heard any progress on Bill? I hope he is continuing to improve and his wife also.

Jan, WOW that 05 Grand Prix GT sounds great. The last word I got from Tinker was he is doing great and hopes to get out of the hospital soon. Still has some infection in his system. Sorry you will not be able to make it to the Clothing Exchange. Ann and I are hosting the October one here in Kokomo. Maybe you can make it down. I have not set the date yet, but will be in the earlier part of the month since we are going to Lexington the end of the month. Dan

Dan, Glad to see you are doing better. It's a real bear when the medicine is worse than what ails you. That's kinda what I've been fighting with my feet. Their counter-measure to bunions caused ligament problems in both feet. So now I have to walk as little as possible to heal the ligaments some so they can handle the surgery for the bunions! As I reminded the podiatrist...when I have the surgery, I won't be doing any walking at all so seems to me that the ligaments WILL have the opportunity to heal at that time. It made him feel better when I told him that while he has me knocked out to do the surgery, he can go ahead and inject the ligaments with steroids. I won't let him while I'm awake. Had that done once in my thumb and it hurt like a dickens (and didn't do any good & I had to have the surgery on my thumb anyway) so I refuse to allow him to stick me in my toes & bottom of my feet! Ye-ouch! I do understand completely also of having 2 surgeries within 6 months. I went through a few years where I was having 2 within 6 months per year, and then 3 within a year. I haven't had one since last September so guess my body thinks it's time again..lol. You do wonder if you're gonna end up a bionic person by the time it's over-with...lol. Keep your chin up & see you Saturday! Sherri
