SUNDAY
Im getting so excited. This is my last Sunday as a Sick Swollen unhealthy Fat person. I'll be a loser from now on!!! Im counting down every hour...THE EXCITMENT JUST KEEPS GROWING.
I went to Walmart this morning and got some baby food, cottage cheese, string cheese and protien drinks and vitamins. I got alot of other things yesterday from a wonderful person who donated some things to me that she had UNDER GROWN. I have received nothing but kindness from all my OH friends and the Hoosier Losers who sent me a goodie box with all kinds of samples and my first sippy cup.
Thank you everyone for all the knowledge and kindness you have show me!

Carman -- YOU ROCK GIRLFRIEND!!!
I'm excited for you! I might swing by to see you on the 13th, won't be til after work tho. What time are you scheduled for surgery?
I remember waking up right after surgery only once being in pain. I remeber my husband calling for the nurse, and them bringing me a feel good shot, and boom! Right back out like a light, could have only lasted a minute if that. My first walk I remember very vaugely, I couldn't walk too far at all. I think I made it 2 rooms down the hall and back. But after that... it was crazy! I wasn't really hurting much at all, and I walked over 4 miles while I was in the hospital from wed when I had surgery to fri morning when i was released. Deb can tell you, I didn't look like I had surgery at all! I remember my favorite moment was the night before I went home after all the visitors had left. I was just relaxing in my bed, watching survivor with an orange sugar free popcicle. At that point I just felt such a calm peace- I knew everything would be fine and I had made the right decison. And personally, i found the hospital bed to be VERY comfy .
I hope your surgery goes every bit as smoothly and that you have an even better experience (if thats possible ) at the hospital. THis truely IS an amazing journey. Soon you'll no longer have to be impatient about the date on the calendar. Next is trying to will the scale to drop weigh faster. We tend to lose sight of how fast we're really losing (myself included)!
Dar,
Im scheduled for surgery on Wed July 12 at 11 am. Im supposed to arrive at 8:30 am. So if you are going to stop by on the 13 after work I should be doing fine by then. Also dont forget my real name is Pamela Uhde or you wont be finding any mariah their patient listings.
Thanks for all the encouragement!
Im counting on that calm peace you were refering too and less joint pain and my husbands looking forward to me having more energy to clean and take care of the house so it can take some of the burden off of him. Hes been so great filling in for me lately since Ive been in so much pain. I didnt know how much I had relied on my Motrin for joint pain until I couldnt take it.
Ohh and I'll be watching BIG BROTHER!!!
MARIAH...
Good morning everyone!
Mariah/Pamela...you'll do fantastic! Just do what Dr. Cacucci & the dieticians tell you to do and you'll see those pounds just melt away!
I have so much to do today! I have to go get groceries! Our fridge is bare. Of course, planned it that way with being gone but didn't plan on me not going to the store yesterday! LOL! I gotta water my poor tomato plants. They have grown so much in a week! I also want to get some walking in today. Doesn't sound like alot...but considering I'm on here instead of busy doing these things...lol! I am NOT looking foward to returning to work tomorrow! That is probably the worse thing about vacations! Coming back to reality!!! LOL! I love my job....I really do....but oh the time off is great!
You all have a fabulous day!
Sherri
