Thursday morning roll call

Good morning to all my wonderful friends. I went to the Kokomo Support Group last night. We had mostly pre-ops and seekers there last night. A couple of people had their surgery last week and two are scheduled this coming week. I gave gift bags to the two who are scheduled for surgery next week. One guy and one gal. You should have seen the look on their faces and how happy they were to receive the bags. I told them they were from a group of wonderful people who have had WLS and are known as the Melting Hoosiers. Also put in a plug to have them join us here on the board. I also passed out a flyer on the July clothing exchange. With regards to St V appointments, my experience was the same as the others have posted here. Hope everyone has a good and blessed day today. Good Morning Everyone! Man does time fly when you are doing nothing! I have been on break this week from school and I go back Monday. I cant believe that it is Thursday already! Dr Jones office called me yesterday and said that it would be a few more weeks before I hear from them (which I didnt expect to hear until at least the first week July anyway) because Dr Jones wants to review my case with Dr Diaz. Anyone know him? The lady (sorry I didnt catch her name I was on my cell phone) said that he specializes in Bariatrics or revisions of something like that, and he is going to be joining there team. Anywhooo I just thought it was nice that they called me at all. I guess Dr Jones is consulting with him since I had my original surgery almost 30 years ago, lord only knows what they did to my tummy back then. I'm like go for it, call in the national guard if need be just do the and do it well..... please! Ok well I had better go do something before Monday gets here! Oh yeah tonight starts St. Judes Church festival (off Mcfarland and Thompson runs thru Sat I think) it is really big and always nice, if anyone is looking for something to do. I went out yesterday with a friend and got all my hair cut off! I really like it but I feel a little bald. I will add a pic when I get one. Have a great day everyone. Blessings Christine
