Monday Morning Roll call...
Good morning everyone...Those of you loosing this is a good day to start inventory your vitamins and make sure you are taking them.. sipping your water everyday and organizing your closets for the next clothing exchange.. it is coming sooner than you think..
Those at a standstill... this is a good day to review all you are doing and start making positive changes to get back on track.. I am..packing my lunch cooler with cheese sticks and fruit. And starting to journel...
We did this for a reason... what was the reason... I also have a before picture I have decided to post on my cube at work... AND I AM GOING TO START BENDING MY KNEE AGAIN EVERY DAY!!! ( I have been lazy with it)
TODAY IS THE BEST DAY OF THE REST OF MY LIFE!!
If I was screaming can you think of anything better to scream???
Linda
Linda,
You must have had a great nights sleep, or some great morning coffee!! I feel motivated just having read your note. I am going to make sure that I increase my water intake and get away from the salt. My hands feel puffy and I know why. To much salt.
I have a busy day ahead today, so I best be getting to it. I hope everyone is blessed in some way today.
Take care,
Carmen
Hey Gail
How did your drs appt go?
When is the next support group...did u say its Wed night?
Also I found this great program for doing your journaling and keeping track of your intake, vit, exercise and even lab results. Ive got my aunt ording it for me. Its called Kathleens diet planner. U can search it online. I'm pretty psyched about it. I hear its the number one program for such tracking. I have found another one on ebay but when I did the research it didnt fair well. So I'll let u know if it works out. I just dont like the old paper and pen....to many ppl coming and going around here that could read it. If its all locked up neat in my laptop...no one can find it but me and who I want to share it with.

Good morning everyone!
I have a busy week planned!! And that isn't even including working! LOL! Oh well, what a better way to spend the week after a busy weekend? We had friends & family over Saturday evening. Friends came up from Kentucky. It was the first time seeing them since 2002 so watching Tommy's expression at realizing that I am the same person he knew back then was amusing. I took some pics. They are in my Friends & Family folder in my picture trails (see my profile for the link). I just hope it's not another 4 years before I see them again!
You all have a terrific day!

Morning everyone! I need to start writing down and do better measuring. I feel like I'm losing, the clothes are getting baggy, but I have been on a plateau for a month now. I keep going up and down the same 2 or 3 pounds. I'm getting very frustrated. I know I get on the scale far to often, but I just keep hoping to break this plateau. I've increased my milk and water intake and so far that hasn't helped. Is it unusuall to plateau for so long and what would you all do to break it? (I also walk 3 to 4 miles each day) I've lost 75 # now and still have 110 to go till goal. right now I weigh less than I have in 20 years. Could part of it be I'm trying to geit rid of fat that thinks it is a permanent resident of my body?
Good Morning beautiful people!! Great great GREAT advice Linda! I purchased all my vitamins this weekend. Now I have to go get one of those daily pill sorters. Sad thing is I made fun of my parents for being old when they got theres...looks who's laughing now!
I took the majority of my clothes to the last clothing exchange but I am sure I can gather a few more. I hate to get rid of anything because hopefully soon I'll be fitting into them again! I did tell some ladies around the office and let them know so I might be getting some clothes from them.
I also purchased a new scale that not only shows weight but body fat percentage. I have to keep telling myself I won't be a scale addict this time like I do for more diets.
I told my parents yesterday and they are very supportive of my decision. It makes me feel a lot more relieved. I am going to tell my work on Wednesday. I have to take my papers up to Dr. C's office tomorrow to request leave.
This week is fairly uneventful...just starting to get ready and reading a lot on surgery and informing my family and Eric. Hope everyone has a great day!!

Great post Linda!
I think that we need to sit back and do a re-eval of where we are at and where we want to go. It is so easy sometimes to want to do something, but fail to take any action to do it. As Larry the Cable Guy says, "Get-Er-Done"
I am having one of those plateaus recently and just can't seem to get off that 312 mark. I need to reevaluate my eating.
I have two more days of PT and then I will be on my own. I have bought several pieces of gym equipment since my WLS so now is the time to get on it and work out.
Hopefully everyone has a great week. Let's all take the time to evaluate where we are at on our journey and determine how we are going to accomplish our goals.
