Angie,
I remember how it is grooming dogs. I use to breed/raise minature poodles, min pins, and pomeranians. I hated groom week! But at least when I was done, they were good to go for 6-8 weeks...other than regualr baths that is. So have fun! LOL!

Good Morning all!
Well, it looks like I won't be able to make it on Saturday. My stepmom is having an emergency biopsy today and possibly surgery, and since my father cannot be left at home alone, they are going to need some help for the next week or so, more than usual. So I'll most likely be babysitting at dad's this weekend for one or both of them.
So sorry I can't make it, I really needed those goodwill deals too.
But at least the clothing exchange is coming up soon!

Good Morning,
Hope everyone is having a great journey!I went to the dr. yesterday for my 6 month check-up and was told I am doinf wonderful, I have lost 92 lbs., I am excited about that, my goal was 100, but after being on the prednizone for 5 weeks I know I would have been there and it wasn't in my control and at least it took away some pain for time being.
Hope everyone has a great day and enjoys this weather- 90 on Saturday woo hoo, although that will make it very hot for baseball tournaments, but at least it isn't rain!
Hope everyone has fun at the Goodwill's on Saturday, I can't wait till the clothing exchange.Sam could you post the info again for us, and let me know if you needed my husband to help with taking the extras to the Julian Center, we really wouldn't mind, just let me know- they really were excited the last time when we were able to give to them, they can use anything, since most of them leave their violent situations with just the clothes on their backs!
Angie- my dog needs groomed too!LOL!!! Husky/Collie mix, lots of hair- she enjoys it though, but it still is time consuming!
Hugz- Dawn
I am not officially coordinating it but I do believe this is the information:
What: July Clothing Exchange
When: Saturday July 15, 2006
Where: Brandywine Community Church - Greenfield, Indiana
Who's Coordinating: Julie B - http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/members/profile.php?N=B1118071409
How to get there: http://www.brandywinechurch.org/directions.html
From I-70, take the Greenfield exit (104).
Go South 1.6 miles (5 traffic lights).
We are in the Marsh Plaza which is on the
West side of State Rd 9 (State Street)
I would check with Julie and see if they have any plans for the left over clothes.
In other news, I am finishing my cover letter tonight and mailing on Friday!! So everyone needs to start crossing their eyes, toes, fingers, and legs!!

Good Morning ![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/mbgraphics/emoticons/wavey.gif)
It is so nice and cool out this morning. I went out on the porch for my morning coffee and did a few exercises on the knee.
I am doing much better right now. I still have lots of back pain from fall I took a few weeks ago when I passed out (no I was sober). The Dr still does not know what caused it, although he feels it might have due to the pain meds I am taking. He cut me back on them and I have not had any repeat performances.
I am still doing PT three times a week. Actually it is not to bad. I really have a good thereapist. Mainily he works me out on the equipment they have. He also stretches my back when I go in. So now instead of being 6' I am stretched out to 6'8". Maybe I will take up basketball, the Pacers need some help.
The Dr gave me some sleeping medication (Lunesta) and does it ever do it's job. I stay asleep all night and I am up ready to go at 6 AM instead of my previous 10 or 11. I think that has helped me more than anything he has prescribed. Besides when I sleep that solid I do not feel the pain. But oh when I get up in the morning!
Hope everyone has a good weekend coming up and you find some good bargins at Goodwill. I go to the Knee Surgeon for a follow up on Friday and then we will be bringing the grandkids up for the weekend. If Dr Hellman clears me to drive, I think I will bop over to the Goodwill here in Kokomo and see what I can find.
Oh yes, one last WOW. The past few days I have been walking around Krogers and K-Mart instead of using the motor carts. That is a first for me in 7 or 8 years. Really feels great.

Hi all. I'm at school waiting to take my last test, Waaahoooo! Then I will be out of school for 10 days. I got lots of house cleaning to do. I joke that I only clean house every three months when I am on school break, which is pretty much true. I mean I do the MUST do stuff, dishes, vacuum and dust ****asionally lol) clean toliet etc. but I really gotta do the heavy duty stuff. Clean closets, draws (get stuff for clothing exchange), sort the neat little piles of stuff that is lying around, mags, papers, mail etc, clean carpet and all that junk. Lovely break huh? Anyway, all is well with me and I will talk to you all again soon. Glad you are doing better Dan! Way to go with ditching the ride on thingy at the store!
Blessings
Christine
