Missing
I was thinking earlier that not as many ppl are posting lately. I know many are out enjoying the weather and sporting events but I havent heard from some of the recent ppl that just had surgery.
Has anyone heard from Jennie -- Ocutie OBiggsie -- or any of the others that had surgery in May???? I know Jennie had complications and went back in the hospital and she posted the night she got out but then I dont think shes posted anymore since then.....has she or did I miss it???

You know I think you're right.. not nearly as many recent people have been posting... Lets just pray they hare having so much fun loosing weight we have become #2 int heir lives.. Or they are on their own surgery month page with people going thru the same things..
You could go to their past posts and email them...Say hey I am just checking up
Linda
I'm not Jennie but I decided to check in anyway. Like Linda said...I haven't been posting on here as much, not that I posted a lot to begin with, because I've been chatting with my April buddies.
I'm almost 7 weeks out and have lost almost 40lbs...but I seem to be hitting a second stall already. These stalls are gonna get really old if they keep hitting me every 3-4 weeks! I know they are to be expected through the process...but 2 in 7 weeks?!?!?! I'm starting a program at the Y this week though and hopefully that'll get things jumpstarted again.
Other than that I'm doing great and never even felt like I had surgery at all.
Hi Mariah,
I was just thinking the same thing earlier today. I try to say a pray for all of the folks who go off to surgery and I like to keep up with them. I was thinking that I hadnt seen, Jennie, or Teresa or Katy. I am hoping it is because they are busy. I told myself that I was going to make it a priority to check in at least once a week with a report. Well of course that is if I get approved!
Blessings,
Christine
PS what about the lady with the new westside meeting who cancelled the meeting due to having to go to he hospital. Any news on her?
I'm not one of the newer ones either, but lately, work had been really busy...and then I went out of town with my sister. In essence, life kept me from doing my usual posting. Today, I'm trying to catch up to postings from Wednesday on! Whew! Doesn't work know I gotta keep up with my buds??? LOL!

Hi everyone... I've been around but I guess just reading instead of posting! I'm doing well... 17 days out. I'm not sure about "official" weight loss yet since I haven't been back to see the doc since I was released. (I was one of the lucky few with no drain, so I don't go bac****il the 19th... I can't wait!) My home scale leads me to believe I've lost around 22 lbs give or take a couple. I'm pretty excited about that if it is accurate. My recovery from surgery itself has been awesome, I've healed very quickly and had no problems with any of my incisions.
My problem right now is that I've been feeling lethargic, nauseous and gassy since Friday... really pretty miserable. The nutritionist told me I needed to get some carbs in my diet and to drink some fruit juice, so I did that on Friday. Then I started feeling this way. Then on Sunday (just when I started feeling better) I had a protein smoothie at my gym... finally something that tasted great! But it had pureed fresh fruit in it (bannana, strawberry, and some orange juice) and I'm back to feeling yucky again.... darn!! Anyone have this problem with fresh fruit/fruit juice? That's the only thing I can think of that I've done differently.
