Well I just thought I would update everyone that I have nothing to update. Its driving me crazy that I havent heard from my insurance company yet. Its been since the 4th of last month and everytime I call they just get more annoyed with me. Im now afraid to call them anymore. This Stephine chick isnt the kindest soul. She just keeps telling me we know u keep calling and we have nothing new to tell you. Now my husband is concerned about me. He keeps telling me I shouldnt be relying on this surgery as the be all end all. However that is how I feel. That if I dont get ths surgery Im not going to make it. I see some ppl have waited yrs to have this surgery and I dont think I have yrs to live at this rate. I have so many co-morbidities. Now Im depressed as hell on top of that. Well I guess Ive vented enough. Sorry for being such a downer. Mariah

hang in there hun, i felt exactly the same way, bawling my eyes out at the thought of a denial. Your day will come. And if they DO deny it, its time to appeal! I took a bit over a month before I heard anythign as well.

I know it wont help to tell you not to spend your time worrying about it, but really try to find something else to keep you distracted. I was lucky my insurance was fast. Try to do something fun and out of the house, and know we are all hoping and praying for a positive outcome for you!! Have a blessed day, Carmen

Morning Carmen, I don't have anything experience with this (waiting to be approved) since I am behind you in this process. I just went to see Dr. Jones Wednesday. But I'm not a very good waiter either. I was so hyped about seeing the Dr, and now I am in linbo without a clue what to expect next. Anyway be encouraged put it in the Lords hands and let it go (well thats easy to say but try). If it makes you feel any better my friend always says "The Lord work in a delay". She says whenever it looks like something is taking forever that, that's when the Lord is working it out. Like Darrah said if you are denied then its just the beginning of step two. Find something to do, (fortunately I go to school full time). Do some volunteer work, or talk a walk and (talk with the Lord), enjoy the weather and relax. Hugs and Prayers Christine

hey, once you have deceided this surgery is for you and you have gone and ins paper work has been sent in....it is allllllllllllll,,,,,,,you can think about or do....not much i know to get it off your mind...heck sleep is of no help.... another thing if the ins co has had this 6 weeks? i am sure they only have 30 days unless now with this surgery they legally can take more time....which hell they do what they want and drag their feet , more and more ins co seem to be doing this, at one time it was about cigna alone, but more and more are... but this time is worth it i think it gives you more time to know more about the surgery and more time to get in the frame of mind for being a loser... start taking vitimans and getting your body ready for what is yet to come

Oh Darling hang in there. I know it is hard to do. I find myself starting to rely on this surgery but I know that isn't good. You will hear something soon...be good or bad and then you can go from there and at least the waiting till be over. I've got my fingers, toes, and eyes crossed for ya!! Sam

Hi Mariah, Just keep praying. That's all I feel I can, I have done very thing request from doctors to insuance companies. I, like you feel like they hold my fate in their hands, SO I decided move it to God"s hands and will. Hope to talk with you soon. Blessings, Gail
