Happy June! ( Thursday )
Wow, where the heck did May go to?! Funny how time seems to move so quickly and slowly all at the same time. Seems like it was just a couple weeks ago we were at the clothing exchange. Today is my 3 month anniversary and I'm down 70 pounds so far, sitting pretty at 295. I'm hoping to lose 20 more pounds by the 4th of July. I finally got into a 24 (stretchy tho), thats what size the pink vlevet pants im wearing in my pic are. So maybe I really AM losing some weight after all, tho I still can't see it in my body itself. Dr. Cacucci siad she wouldn't be surprised if I was down around 100 pounds by 6 months. Can't wait to see if I am!
Darrah,
I read your profile.... wow! How inspiring! I had surgery on 5/25/06 (after two years of dealing with being a type II diabetic). Surgery was postponed once back in 04 because of A1C's.
You have melted away! I hope my body responds as well as yours has. Im walking as much as I can daily and doing exactly what Dr Cacucci says I need to do. I see her for my first post-op tomorrow morning.
Thanks!
Julia
Darrah,
I can't believe the change in you! I know you can't see it, I have trouble seeing it in myself, but BOY! can I see it in you. You look like a totally different person already. I can't imagine the difference another 30 lbs will make.
BTW, I like the new doo. It looks really cute. My hair is long - the longest I've had the patience to grow it since I was 5. I keep debating about cutting it short, but hate to lose what has taken me 3 years to grow! Plus, I am terrible about getting the frequent trims that short hairstyles require. I just hate to spend the time and money.
I'm looking forward to seeing you shrink away. I think I'll put a new picture up when I hit the 50 lbs mark (I don't have the patience to weight for 70).
