Alisica,  I hurt for you dear.   Your pain will get softer as time passes, and it will be easier to deal with.  Stay busy and active.  You will remain in my prayers.
The service was beautiful.  I loved the photos and readings.  And have really been enjoying the music!  I did not realize Duane was a talented musician on top of everything else!
I would like to copy the service pamphlet onto this site if it is OK with you?

My heart is breaking and I miss that man dearly.  He was my everything!!
Thank you all for the kind words you have spoke about my husband.  Duane was a great man with a heart of gold.

I am going to have to lean on my friends, family and the WL community.

Everyone ---please keep in touch with me and keep me accountable.  Duane and I set on this journey together and it would not be right if I did not continue this and make him proud!

Please keep me in your prayers   ~Alisica~

Have you tried the Nectar. I know BJ Bariatrics in Carmel, carries this at a really good price. He has sample packs that are very economical so you don't have to buy the 2# tub and then throw it away if you just can't tolerate it. There are several different fruit flavors. I am not fond of the fruitty ones though. I personally like the sweets line and I like the chocolate the best. My husband ( not a WLS person but who has lost about 50# the other way, following my lifestyle change and exercise) only likes Strawberry anything.

I loved the way I was treated while in the hospital.  They were fantastic.  Make sure you walk all you can while there, and remember to sip, sip , sip.

Diane,

How excited are you right now?!!!! Just think, this time tomorrow, you will be well on your way to a new beginning!!!!  I wish you the best tomorrow as you undergo your surgery. I hope everything goes well for you.

If I don't talk to you before my surgery, I hope to talk again after we have both been home for a few days and have had time to adjust to our new life.

You'll be in my thoughts and prayers tomorrow.

Again, Congrats on your new journey!!!!

NSAIDS are bad bad bad. Tylenol, biofreeze (a type of icyhot) and a chiropractor are my tools of choice.
Biofreeze is actually a HUGE help. It's "hotter" than bengay, and comes in a spray, cream, and roll on. 2 spritzes on my necck and I'm good to go all through the night. (it will clear your sinuses too, so if you are afraid of the smell, don't use it hehe)

What is Medicaid (Athems). I am assuming this is regular Medicaid. Why would they pay when there are practically no insurance company that will cover plastic surgery.
