So what surgeon do you have?  I'm hoping the revision will be the tool to help you achieve all your weight loss goals!  Keep us updated on your progress.

I did have trouble for awhile with my thyroid. They put me on Synthroid for about 6 months.  Then by the next blood test it had gone back to a normal level, so they took me off the medicine.  Hope this helps!

Bless your heart! I am 5 1/2 yrs post-op (RNY) and feel your frustration. I, too, do not know much about the LapBand, but pull out your booklets or whatever training guides you were given at the beginning and reread to refocus. Like with any "tool" it WILL work if it is used! You are able to accomplish this! God bless you, Sweety! Keep in touch!

This has been a fantastic year. I have always avoided getting my picture made prior to my weight loss so on my 1 year surgeversary I decided to schedule a glamar photo session. Dario and Kathy did a fantastic job! If you are interested in a free 8x10 contact INFINI Boudoir www.darioinfini.com 800.941.6640

Mention that Cindy Thomas referred you and we will both get a free 8x10!

My sugar was up a little so I had 2 weeks of high protein, no sugar.  I think it is different for different people.

Topic: RE: Hello fellow Hoosiers!
Congrats on your decision to start a life long journey and the 10%!  Hopefully you won't have to wait long for your surgery.  Just keep up the good job and maybe you will continue to lose more before surgery.  I love your surgeon, she is awesome!  She performed a couple of surgeries on me and saved my life!  This website is a great support system.

I am 8 years post op and still use the support to lose weight I joined from steroids.

Best of luck!

Deciding to get back on the weight loss band wagon is the first start.  I would recommend to start back at the basics with food journaling and not eating and drinking.  I love this website, but also use another called myfitnesspal.com to track my food and exercise.   I would also contact your doctor.  I know a little bit about how the band works, maybe you need another fill.  This website is great for support.

I am 8 years post op and regained 90 pounds due to steroids.  I have been able to lose about 60 of those pounds through diet and exercise.  I've never been a runner, but just started doing a couch to 5k program to ready me for running a 5k.

I wish you the best in your journey.
