I am having brachioplasty and abdominoplasty in 2 weeks.

I choose Dr. Ayoub Sayeg.  He is in Detroit.  I met him at an Obesity Help Conference last summer and had a mini consult with him ( and a couple other plastic surgeons). He has his own surgery center, but recommended I have my surgery done at an acute care hospital because of my asthma and heart arrythmia. (My DH and I were impressed that he was most concerned about me, because he would profit more, monetarily, if he did the procedures in his own center.)

He specializes in body sculpting in massive weight loss and does alot of bariatric surgery patients.

I'm not sure about the lower body lift.  I need one, but don't know?  I will get healed from the above procedures and then consider it.

I am coming home with a pain pump so the ride home will be comfortable and it will help with the pain the first three days.

Last year on Mother's day we unhooked my Daddy from lifesupport.  It was so hard and so sad.  2 years ago on Mother's day my nephew Jason was killed by a drunk driver. But God blessed us beyond belief!!!  My oldest daughter had my first grandchild on Mother's day!!!!

He was born at 12:18 and he weighed 7 lb 1 oz.  20 inches long!

I just happened on your post and wanted to let you know that I do know of a wonderful endocrinologist in the Cincinnati area.  It is certainly a distance from you but she's very knowledgeabe.   

She's very involved in the bariatric community through research, which is how I know her.  I've been in a couple of studies about post-RNY patients and reactive hypoglycemia.  She knows her stuff!   

Her name is Dr. Salehi, University of Cincinnati Hospital.  I know you can get her email or phone number off their website.  If nothing else, perhaps she could recommend someone closer in your area.  

 I had the RNY on April 12 and I've not had any complications. Dr. Evanson is my surgeon. I was pain free within the first week. 

I would talk to another surgeon as well before having another surgery. You wont hurt Dr. Inman's feelings, and if you do, tough for her. You have to take charge and get all the information you need. 

I was feeling doubts the day of my surgery too, so don't convince yourself you made the wrong decision just because of those doubts. 

St. V. is an excellent hospital. I really enjoyed my stay there. 

Take care of yourself and call the office Monday and ask for a consult with another surgeon.
