So, I just ate some cottage cheese and tomato chunks, and it hurts worse. So, it's more painful after I eat something...help! What is going on?

Okay, I have a question...

I'm having this pain, it just started today, just below my sternum. It started earlier after I had eaten some noodles. It hurt so bad I came thisclose to going to the er...it has since subsided a lot. Now it's just like a nagging pain there, and I'm afraid to eat anything because that was when it hurt so bad. Anyone had anything like this go on or have any ideas what it could be? I'm almost 2 1/2 years post op, and can eat quite a bit now so I wouldn't think I have anything stuck. Also, nothing is protruding or anything so I didn't think it'd be a hurnia...thoughts??

Hi Guys!  Just wanted to check in and let you know that I am alive and well.  Wow has it been a ride (alot rougher than I expected!).  I am one week post op today and my drainage has pretty much stopped. I have been off pain meds for 3 days. I dont have a computer at home so I will check back in as I can.  Thanks for the prayers and suppport.

I work at a Cancer/Hematology Office.  I would love to recommend either Dr Sgroi or Dr Doyle.  We have a couple of patients here that get iron infusions because they became anemic after having bariatric surgery.  If you would like to make an appointment the scheduling line is 317-356-2422.  I am not sure where you live but these two Dr.s are at our south location.  If I can offer any more help please let me know.
