Brought Noah home from the hospital today and it's so nice to be home! The boys are loving just looking at him and kissing on him.
Also, I got on the scale today for the first time in a long while. I was 148 when I got pregnant, 155 when I delivered him and today I weigh 133. That's a total weight loss of 103 pounds! I can't hardly believe it. I knew the weight would come off after I had him, just never thought I'd lose 22 pounds in 11 days!!

Topic: RE: Races anyone?
I am doing the Geist 5k.... Komen Race for the Cure also offers a 5k...
I do have a question... my trainer said I cannot really start running until my weight is under 200lbs- because of the stress and pressure it puts on my bones... I have been teetering at 211-215 for the last few weeks.... Has anyone else heard this?

Tracy, props to you for the 5k. Take your time and work up to the half marathon. There's plenty of time. The main thing to to get out there consistently and move. You're doing great!!!

Topic: RE: Calling Dr. Inman's patients
Hi Cybil,
As far as I can tell the VBG was stapled and then had a band on my stomach too. So everything was getting stuck in the band. After they took the band and staples out I didn't have any more trouble. I will never have anything with a band on it again. I was miserable all those years and I thought it was my fault until, I started reading other people's responses on the VBG boards. After I found out others were having the same problem as I had I didn't feel like a failure anymore. I so am ready for the DS so I can shed this weight once and for all.
Thanks for listening and caring,
GIA!
