It's FRIDAYYYYYYYY!
This weekend for me: girl child has a girlscout trip tomorrow to CoCo Key in Cincy. Sunday, we're going to take the kids to see How to Train Your Dragon, for the boy child's birthday (which is on Wed) and I think Jason and I may go out to dinner sometime this weekend, as our wedding anniversary is Monday.
What are your plans for the weekend?

You won't regret the investment. I am still amazed at the results Dr B got out of my flabby old body. Clothing fits better, muscles are tight, less chance of hernia.

I can eat as much as I want...I just don't want much.
I'm ashamed of what I did for a Klondike bar...

Melissa, do you know about Freecycle? It is a Yahoo Group and there is a Freecycle for every county in the US. ( or thats the goal). We have a large group of users for Hendricks. Join the free group at www.freecycle.com, then post your need for size 8 clothing. The idea is to pass things on, and kep them out of the landfills. I have given away tons of stuff, and also received things I needed. It can be anything from flowers pots to broken computers. Stipulation: all free. I will be using Freecycle when I need to start purging my bigger sizes. Try it!

Topic: Plastic approval today
I received a call from Dr Bergmans office today that my plastics (panni) had been approved by the insurance. She said if I still wanted it done she would call back in a couple of days to give me available dates. Dr Bergman is suggesting I would be a lot happier with the outcome to pay the extra and get the abdominoplasty instead of just the panni especially since I carried most of my weight around my abdomen. It would be about $3700. extra in addition to what the ins wil pay.
So I am very excited but also sometimes question whether it is "vain" to have this done and if I should? Guess I am just more worried about others and what they think. I really want it done though.

Topic: For those using Clarion Bariatric Center
I am post-op and just spent 11 days at Clarion North. I was so surprised that what we were prepared for in class (at the Center) didn't happen at the hospital. For instance, they went into detail that we would use the pain pump when we needed it, how to use it, how often, etc. Then I find out here is no pain pump at Clarion - the nurses sounded surprised that the classes told us we'd be on the pumps. How can they be so off-sync with something like that??

Yes, I did see the six pack of tiny plastic bottles at CVS, but $12 was ridiculous. Truthfully, I hate the taste of all the Iso's, so I mix them 1:1 with flavored teas.

That's wonderful Melissa! Before my surgery I think I told you I'd visit while I was there too - but I had complications after my RNY, and became critical. I don't even remember Easter! I hope the best for you and Noah!

Yeah, I am enjoying the relative calm of just me, the husband and my 3 year old. But I know that chaos is approaching....lol.

Topic: RE: Dr Inman's patients
Thanks Jazzbabe , that was my thinking also. More room would be better but I'm sure either is
good with a Dr like Dr Inman.
