Topic: RE: ???? about hospital
I'm having my surgery done at Clarian north...however we stoped in one evening and asked if we could have a small tour of the bariatric unit. They were very happy to show us around and we asked ??? about hubby rooming in/showering and that said "as long as he isn't peeing in your cup he is more than welcome to use your shower and sleep in here" So that was really nice to get to see the facilities etc. Maybe St. V does the same thing and you can ask them questions as well.

St. Vincent is a wonderful place. As a nurse, I have worked in various hospitals and can say I got great care at St. V's. Your husband can stay, but realize, he wont get much sleep. You are up walking throughout the night, nurses are in and out, etc. Good luck on your journey!

Welcome to the loser's bench! I had a lot of trouble with nausea and vomiting right after surgery but slowly it got better. I am glad you are feeling better and are sipping like you should. That is the important thing right now. Please dont forget to move around as well. I couldnt have apple juice but my dietician told me to drink 4oz of grape juice. Things change I am sure.
You will find many new blessings daily with your journey! Take care of yourself!!!

Good Morning fellow weight loss folks!
I am up and doing my usual stuff this morning but at a little bit slower pace. For some reason I am really nauseas today. Not sure what that is all about. I have to go to see Dr. Huse next week and I am ready!
I participated in Relay for Life on Saturday and it was a great blessing to my day. Not only did I raise money for a disease that I hate, I also did a first for myself. I ran the track with a fellow weight loss friend. We both have been way to heavy to run. She looked at me and said...you wanna run? I said why not and so we took off. IT was the most freeing experience of my life and it brought tears to my eyes. Our team applauded because they knew what we had been through this past year. I stand truly amazed every day at what RNY has gave me back. I will always thank God for making this possible!
Have a wonderful week everyone
