Dr.Mattar is amazing! He is an awesome surgeon and will do everything he can to put your mind at ease. I have complete faith that he would not perform surgery on your wife if he thought that it would cause major complications. If it makes you feel any better I work at Clarian North in both the Intensive Care Unit and the Progressive Care Unit and it is rare that we see any of Mattar's patients in our units- if we do it is because of underlying cir****tances (other healing inhibitors).. you are a good husband for being supportive! keep it up!

I have to agree the staff at Clarion is awesome. A couple of suggestions: go to Walmart and buy the little plastic baby food storage bowls. They are about 5-6 ounce capacity. I use mine everyday. Also indispensible: baby spoons! I bought two 3-pack long-handled baby spoons. They keep you from taking too big of a bite of food.

Props to you Tracy! I bet that made you feel so good. I can't wait to fly so I can see how I fit in the seats now. I hated flying before and I used to fly all of the time. Have a great vacation.

Topic: Hungry all the time!

I am 20 days out from surgery and am so hungry. I added juice and extra protein to my diet but still I feel hungry. Has anyone else had this problem and what did you do?
