8 days till surgery

I completed all my testing today. I am so nervous, it has made everything so real. May 17th is my date and the butterflies are on the move! Is this normal to feel so nervous about this change in life style? So much fear but I know it is what I want I am so sick of the way I look....... Please advise Teresa

Congrats Teresa, I was wondering if u could answer a few questions for me. I noticed you have anthem like Sam and I do. Could u tell us what all u sent in to get approved. Did you have the 18 month Dr supervised dieting? Also the testing you did today....What exactly did that consist of? Thanks for any info u can share with us! Mariah

Hi Mariah I sent you an email with info about what you asked me. Give the insurance anything you can in order to get it approved. I have the same insurance as you do. They approved me within 15 days Teresa

Thanks Teresa, I got it. It made me relax a little. I was hoping it wouldnt take so long to hear back from them but at least now I'll know I wont be hearing anything this week and i wont be thinking its bad news if I dont hear anything the first week... Mariah

I would worry about you if you were not worried... You will be in our prayers and hearts!!! We get so comfortable being fat that when the new exciting things in our lives start happening we get thrown a little... Teresa You are feeling what we all felt with the nervousness. That is totally normal. Just relax the best you can and next week will be here before you know. My prayers are going out to you that you have a very uneventful surgery and a quick recovery. Dan

Good luck!!!! I am with you I am having my surgery this Friday May 12th at St. Vincent's! I am a little nervous but very excited because I feel like I have waited soooooooo long for this day!!!!!!!!!!
