Good Morning-it's Saturday!!!!

Hi everyone, Are you at the Mini today? Out shopping,doing yard work, or just enjoying this beautiful weather? I went for my 6 mo. check up. I am down 86#;& 20 3/4 " so far. I think I have heard so many times that you loose the most of your weight by the first 6 mo. that I was hoping to be in "onderland" by now. I think my body knows best. I got the nicest compliment from Hubby-" Your body is trying to catch up with all this loss. Look at how many inches/sizes you are down already." Someone gently reminded me that 86# in 6 mo. is amazing.I have 30# to my first goal,(where I have stopped & started rapidly gaining in the past bf my surgery), so I I need to re-adjust my thinking. I am feeling alittle better. had to go to the Drs. & get meds. for my tummy. I guess my system is all messed up from the flu bug that really bit me. I am on Flagyl for 1 week, & no dairy,legumes,or meat for 2 weeks. My poor tummy has really been off. I haven't been able to get out & walk also for the past week, due to injurying my ankle( slight tear in the tendon).Atleast I have been able to get out & walk the past few days to the boys ball games. Good morning, dang it I can't go or do anything. .... restrictions and no money. But Hey I did find something I can do that will take no work out or have any lifting to it... IT IS LIE OUT IN THE SUN HAVE DONE THAT THE PAST TWO DAYS,..... Not sure if I will do that today, I don't want to get cold. Ellen I am going to try to go to the Frankfort meeting this Tue. I ask Lois if she was going, cause with not working I really don't want to use any more gas then I need to, I am hoping she is still going to go. If I hope to see you there. I was trying to get the one lady that you are friends with at AHN to go ,she had surgery 3 years ago, she said she knew you. I didn't even know that she knew me, she used to hang around some of my X-family and remember about me and my X.... Well tell Sunday, have a great day. Lisa B

Good morning everyone...well..11:!5 IS still 'morning'! DH and I have been looking over condo's in Vegas. We're thinking about buying one and renting it out till I can retire (2015). Now I have to get busy and do some stuff for work. UGH! I think I'm gonna take it easy walking the next few days. I've developed a painful bunion. I had always thought little old ladies got those. Aparently tight pointy shoes can do it (which I refuse to wear) or an injury can. When we were in Vegas in March, a suitcase rolled over that toe...so..I know where the injury came from. I have an appointment on Tuesday with a podiatrist to see what needs to be done about it. Lately I had been walking 5-9 miles a day and the days that it is in the 7-9 range, I've been in ALOT of pain. Yesterday, with 6 miles, it still hurt like heck. So..until Tuesday, I'm gonna cool it. Besides, I read on the main board that you gotta give your body a break from exercise now & then so it can catch up and allow you to lose some weight. I am due for that!! Hello everyone! I spent my morning going to yard sales and now I'm taking care of my little niece. I think she has a stomach bug. Her grandmother is coming to take over nursing duty so I can go watch my nephews baseball game at 5pm. Ellen, I think 86 # is incredible! I have been on WW for 7 months and have lost 31lbs. I'm bummed. I cannot wait to get on with this surgery and get on with the major weight loss! Have a great weekend everyone!

HI Johnnie! Did you do the community garage sale behind St Francis Hospital off Hadley Road??? I did!! Did you see me??? heheh there were so many people there I didnt even see my own kids and grandkids!!! It was a fun day!!! Linda

That is the sale I went to. It was wonderful! I picked up some really great books, CD's, DVD's and VHS tapes. I also got a really nice overnight bag for $3!! I'm using that for my hospital stay when I have my surgery. Have a great week
