OK, so I only told one person at work about the surgery and today someone who didn't know asked me if I had been losing weight. It was such a great feeling. I felt like I was on top of the world for a few minutes. It's been 6 weeks and I'm down 33.5 pounds. WOOOHOO!! Just had to share!

Congratulations on your success!! I hope to be joining you soon. I don't plan on telling anyone at my work or at least not very many (providing I get approved!) Compliments are the best no matter what size you are!! Sam

Great Mel. I knew it would happen soon. It's funny some of the comments you get at first. They know something is different but not sure what it is at first. The most common I got were hair related. Did you get your hair cut differntly?(NO) Is your hair color different?(NO). I have found that when ever I lost weight I always had to lose atleast 30 for anyone to notice. It's only going to get better from here.

Jan, I totally thought of you when she complimented me.........you were right. takes about 30 pounds for someone to notice. I'm soooo excited! I can really tell in my clothes that things are getting bigger. It's VERY exciting. Hoping to get into those 18's before summer hits and the end of summer to be in 16's. It would be SOOOO nice to have to go clothes shopping for a new work wardrobe by the end of the summer!
