Insurance Company

Ok, question for you all. I have faxed my information to my insurance company, now the big question how often did any of you call to find out the status of you being accepted/denied? I called yesterday and when I spoke with the customer service rep which I have been told by them many of times I don't need a letter saying that I have been approved. Yeah right about the time I go ahead and have it they would come back and say oh we are sorry but you didn't qualify. According to there requirements I do meet them. There was some additional information they needed like the surgeons name, address and phone and the same for the hospital. Which I called Amy at the doctors office and gave her the 800 number to call and they could update the information over the phone instead of waiting for the fax that I did earlier that morning. I guess like the others the wait is just driving me ........ Bonnie
