Psy Eval :angst:

I was supposed to have my psy eval next week but they just called from St. V. in Carmel and said their was a cancellation. I will be going tomorrow instead. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what to expect!!! Ive never been to see a shrink. Probably could have used one yrs ago but could never afford to do it. If I could have I might not be as fat as I am now. Seems Im more nervous about seeing him than the surgery itself. Would love any assistance you can give me. Thanks. Mariah

I was afraid of my psych eval also. It was not near as bad as I thought it would be. My psych eval consisted of questions that would relate to bulemia and other problems, which wasn't my problems and they wanted to make sure that I had the ability to understand direction. I even asked the psychiatrist if he would approve me for surgery and he told me he would, I felt really comfortable with him and if you do with yours, I would go ahead and ask them. Thanks for getting back with me Shirley. I have been so worried this afternoon about the appt. You have really calmed my fears. I dont have problems with any of those areas either. My problems are with food intake and lack of movement. Thanks again for your help!!!!! Mariah
