thanks for all the support

first of all i want to thank everyone for the support, everyone has given me encouragement. maybe in my other post it sounded like i am giving up that is not the case at all....i plan on fighting this till i hear the anwser i want, i have came to far to give up. I have been through the appeal process with arnett before and i know what this is all about. I want any advice that will help me with this appeal. I want tis surgery so bad. i am 26 years old and i want to be able to feel 26. The problem is i had my hopes so high and now this....with this it has just made my depression spiral. i know that i just need to hang in there.....thanks again to everyone

I know the denial was a kick in the butt...But it was to kick start you into the appeal process... Find out exactly what they want and get it for them... Good luck.. and I am with Angie... rant and rave all you want... come to the clothing exchange and get some new clothes...so what if you haven't lost much/anythng yet.. we always have plenty of the larger clothes to give away.. meet some new friends who KNOW where you are and what you are up against... get some GROUP support. Whinney there is a great book called Weight Loss Surgery for Dummies. You can pick it up at the library. In it there is a sample appeal letter. I was reading over it last night. It is really good. I would get that so you at least have a guideline. I am cheering for you! Sherry
