HI Nice People! Today is my DH's one year anniversary for WLS and he is down nearly 200#! I am so proud of him! Yesterday was our 10 month anniversary too...can't believe it has gone by that fast. I have my surgical consult with Dr. Christine Gupta and my psych consult tomorrow...busy week! Hope I get the "okey dokey" for surgery too. Be blessed! Jennie

Good morning, and welcome! Sure hope there's a good window today to get some walking done. I'm aiming for three miles today. It looks like my dogs have finally adjusted to the time change and are getting me up at 6 instead of 7 again. Hahaha- who needs an alarm clock?

Good Morning All! Back home from sunny Florida and wish I were back there again! 84 degrees and plenty of sunshine. It was great to be able to go out on the beach and not feel like a beached whale! Everyone have a great day!

Good morning everyone! Good luck tomorrow Jennie. Who did your dh have? I love Dr. Gupta. My 18 month check-up is with her tomorrow at 2. Maybe I'll see you up there. I went for a quickie walk this morning. Just 15 minutes but it was about a mile. I love starting my day off this way! I ran into one of our IT guys. He was pulled away from us to work on DST possible issues. Guess there were a few minor issues that came up. You wouldn't think turning the clocks one hour one way or the other would cause such a big deal, huh? In our house, we forgot to adjust the timer for the light in the living room so now I'm getting up to it being pitch dark in there. Gotta fix that tonight. It's strange looking out the window at 7 AM and it being dark outside too. Oh well, like Darrah's dogs, I'll get use to it . You all have a terrific day! Sherri

Jennie, Great news on the 200 lbs loss in one year for DH. I sure hope I can say the same at one year out. Good luck on your beginning your WLS journey. Angie Looking forward to lunch tommorow and agree that if anyone else in the area drop by and grab a bite and chat for a bit. I think I finally finished with the flu bug and have been feeling great the past two days. By the way I got my complete blood work report back yesterday and everything really looks good, so maybe I just might be doing something right. Dan

What a blessing! I hope that you have the same success. And as Dan said....me too!!! Last night I went to my first support group. Very interesting. Strong personalities in there! I was surprised at how many people were there. I hope I can attend at least two times a month.
