Friday is my day!

Well, Friday is my day. I'm going to take Wed. & Thurs. off to spend with my kids since they are on spring break. It's funny how I'll be thinking or talking about something completely unrelated to my wls and then some stray thought will pop into my head bringing with it all of my original fears regarding this surgery. I know it is normal. I've read enough posts to confirm that. And I'm not going to let anything stop me from going ahead. I am definitely ready to start my new life! It is just very startling each time it happens. I wanted to thank you all for your generosity of spirit. Your posts have answered many questions that I have either been unwilling to ask or just didn't think to ask. Reading about all of your experiences has really helped me to feel comfortable with the choice I have made. I don't know if I will get a chance to get on here again before Friday (the kids and I are going out of town to see my stepmom), but I will let you all know how it goes as soon as I can get back on here. dr clark is sure a busy man...bless his heart..he got on the phone with me yesterday and i sure gave him an earful...bless his heart....your in great hands and gonna be back with us in a matter of days..be sure and let him know angie said you have the best....i feel like maybe he thinks i think other wise and i do not...he is still the best to me...i even asked ed did he want to see about another dr and he said no...so he knows he has the best just issues and depression i believe being the issue right now... your gonna be a LOSER....

Best of everything to you on Friday; I was scared too and know many others were. Surgery was last Wed 3/29 for me and this week I got the drain out on Tuesday which was a HAPPY DAY God bless you
