Any ideas???

ed looks ill, he does not take his meds unless i say something..i told him last night enough was enough and time to jerk a knot in his rump...and i had asked him if he wanted a protein drink and he said no..i said from now on when i ask you if you want a protetin drink you do not say no you say thanks and drink it..well today i am gonna be darn right mean to him..friday night he went to play cards for 4 whole hours...yet all i see other wise is the recliiner or bed and i am over it...time for some changes and i am gonna mean it...i bet yesterday he had all of 20 oz of water and no protein drinks and maybe 3 total oz of food..he is as white as a ghost and those of you that have seen him know he is dark...he looks sickly...i know he had some major surgeries but enough is enough and it has been over a month now and time to act like he has some sense...he looks like a big ole monster skinny ghost...a white monster of some sort...and i have had enough and gonna jerk a knot in his ass today.... he was doing just fine till thurs...i worked..i think he spoke to his ***** of a daughter and she just brings him down

Maybe Angie it is time to sit him down and go over all that has happened....he needs to go back and remember why he had WLS in the beginning....the setbacks from his medical problems is only a setback and he needs to get with the program to be healthy. Try to give him the comfort of your love and lots of hugs, laughter and support. He probably doesn't realize that the lack of protein and fluids is making him not think clearly. You might point out that if he keeps going like this he will be back in the hospital again and unless he is crazy about his room at the hospital he had better shape up! Good luck sweetie! Angie I will do my best to try and talk some sense into him on Thurs. Sounds like he is giving up and that may well be from talking to the daughter. Tell him his friend Dan said to get his ass in gear. Being a man I know we are stuburn sometimes...ok most of the time...alright darn it all the time.
