Pills/Vitamins?
Daily I take 3 flintsone completes, 2 viactiv calcium chewables (i like the carmel or raspberry flavors), 1 prevacid (for the first three months, then it changes to pepcid AC), biotin, cod liver oil, a stool softner, ,and a benefiber SF chewable (because I'm still trying to poop).
Fridays and Tuesdays I take a liquid sublingual B complex, and thiamin (B-1) in adtion to the other fun stuff. I dont really get "FULL" on them, because you dont take them all at once.
Samantha,
My list is:
Daily: 3 Flintstone chewables w/iron
3 Chewable Calcium Citrite
*1 Biotin
**1-B6
Twice a week: 1-B12 Sublingual
Once a week: 1-B1
*The biotins were recommended by the dieticians for hair loss. I would recommend you start on this as soon as you are post-op and not wait for the first handful of hair to be in your drain.
**I started taking these for added energy. They weren't recommended by dietician or surgeon.
I take all of mine around noon except the calcium. I take it at night. I'm on synthroid and you're suppose to wait 4 hours after taking it to take any vitamins. Noon is always late enough. The calcium is to be taken 4 hours+ from your multi-vitamins to get maximum effectiveness from both.
Do I get filled up from the vitamins? No. Early out, I took the Viactivs instead of the Calcium Citrites. They were like a piece of candy to me so I enjoyed them thoroughly. LOL!
Sherri
I take 2 Flinstone Complete & 2 Calcium Citrate 400MG twice a day.
Plus I take StressTabs (for the Vitamin B complexes) once a day.
I give myself a Vit B12 shot once a month
I have to take my vitamins 1st thing in the morning with coffee-before any food...I then eat about an hour later. I take the night ones an hour or so before bed...a few hours after dinner.
